‘How did I come to love designing guinea pigs?’ I’ve found myself asking this question quite a lot lately as I doodle more and more of them – yes, there are more to come …! So now we have 8 cheery guinea pigs with a couple more arriving over the next few weeks. But that’s not the end of it – oh no, I’m currently working on another ten, with testers lined up waiting to stitch them out. It’s all very exciting, watching them appear in their array of colours and accessories.
What next – well I can tell you that I’m also working on feathers, bunnies and sugar skulls, most of which are now off the drawing board, forming an orderly queue whilst waiting to be digitised. I do love the process of taking a sketch and making it into something that everyone can enjoy!
